Hi and welcome to the Iron kettlebell Fitness blog. If you are looking to take your strength and conditioning to new levels, I’d like to help.
My name is Dennis and I have over 25 years experience in the field of strength and conditioning. I started out as a bodybuilder, progressed to powerlifting and have evolved from there. What that means is that I have evolved from performing your basic powerlifting lifts to practicing the art of strength.
Sure, I still use barbells, but my strength and conditioning goes way beyond that. I now incorporate kettlebells and sandbags and Turkish clubs and ropes. I train my body as one complete unit practicing my lifts as I work my entire body as one. Our bodies are designed to incorporate every muscle, working in harmony with one another to achieve a certain lift or task.
When a linebacker sprints across the field fighting off blockers, jumping over downed players and eventually meetingup the the quarterback where he unloads a vicious hit which brings him down winning the big game, which muscle is he using? He doesn’t just use this calves or his hamstrings or his obliques or his pectorals, he uses them all. And he uses them all in conjunction with one another. It only makes sense to train your entire body as if it were one muscle.
Not only do I have over a quarter decade of experience, I have access to some of the worlds elite strength and conditioning coaches and athletes. I ‘d like to take what I know and share it with you. I’d like to help you become EXTRAORDINARY!
Yours in Health
Dennis
